It was great the very first time my wife lit up and didn't have the ash fall into the rest of the bong. The best part was how simple it was to clean it out.....that was worth the price alone....and it stands on the counter as the whole base is even so it doesn't fall over and break. It is made like lab hardware.....wonderful!!!

This has quickly become my primary set-up. Smoke passes through two stages of water filtration before the bong. A new level of smoothness. Also, easy to clean, of course. I thought the many different parts would be a problem, but design and build quality are very high. I use a different bowl, which keeps things even cleaner. Ease of use means that I clean the whole set up even more. Definitely needs a large bong to balance. But overall, a great product for advanced users.

Changed The Game
I recently found out about ash catchers. They originally appealed to me as a nice way improve cleaning my bong. I really hate the smell of a dirty bong. I bought a multi-perc style madness type bong off of Smokea that I always put off because they looked hard to clean along with this Grav ashcatcher. Very minimal maintenance required on the complicated bong with this device. Bonus feature of this is I use it with my old bong that was way too harsh before . Added the extra filter of water and more volume to my old bong. Also made it easier to clean, so now I prefer my old bong. It is a great device, but one thing to consider is that it is heavy and I always make sure that it is supported. If you tend to be clumsy, I would recommend you use this with something with a heavier base and to leave it on a solid surface and minimize handling. I am more than happy with this.
