How many hits can you get out of a chillum?
Chillums are typically meant for short smoking sessions, so you’re not likely to get as many hits out of them as, say, a standard bong. That being said, if you use the right technique (lightly tapping the flame to your herb), you could get up to 6 hits or so with each of the chillums in our collection.
What’s a chillum?
Chillums are small pipes that are meant to provide only a few hits at a time. They do not have carbs, so you’re going to get less control of the airflow, and the bowl will continue to burn for as long as the flame is sustained.
How often should I clean my metal chillum?
Ideally, you’ll want to give your chillum a small daily cleaning if you’re using it frequently. This can be as simple as using a cotton swab or a pipe cleaner to clear out the inside of your pipe. Depending on how often you’re smoking from your chillum, deep cleaning should take place about once a week.
