All About Domes
Like most things associated with dab rigs, vapor domes come in three standard sizes: 10mm, 14mm, and 18mm. Make sure you know what size joint you have before you purchase a dome. If you buy the wrong size, it won’t fit, and you’re still wasting vapor! No one wants that.

How to Use Your Dome
Using a dome when you smoke couldn’t be easier. Domes are designed to slide over the top of your heated nail to distribute that heat evenly and retain your vapor.
So, to use one, start by heating your nail to your desired temperature. Then slide the vapor dome over the top of the nail, drop your concentrate of choice into it, and inhale the vapor from the top of the dome. Easy peasy.

Will the dome get hot?
Yes, your glass dome will get hot during use. Some domes come with a handle to ensure you can remove it without burning yourself (and potentially dropping the dome). Smaller domes don’t have a handle so use caution when removing it.
What size dome do I need?
This will depend on the joint size on your rig. If your joint size is 18.8mm, that is the size you need to purchase for a dome.
Do I need a dome?
Without a dome, your vapor will dissipate, wasting your herb. When using a domed nail, make sure you have a dome to go with it.
