A dab nail is an essential part of every dabber's setup. It’s the heated element where you place your concentrates to produce the vapor you inhale. Having a high-quality dab nail is key, and that’s where our titanium nails come in.
Titanium is an incredibly durable metal, meaning these nails will likely last you a long time. While some users have scorched their product on titanium, it’s mostly folks who heat the nail too long. You don’t have to heat titanium forever — wait until it briefly glows orange or red, wait another 45 seconds to cool briefly, then apply your concentrates and enjoy.
We’ve already covered how titanium is a durable choice that, when used correctly, won’t scorch your product. Another huge benefit is a lot of titanium nails are adjustable or universal. That means you don’t have to mess with sizing for your various rigs.
Plus, titanium nails are wicked easy to clean. You can use the torch method, where you literally just burn off any leftover residue with your torch. Or, you can boil some water and salt until the salt dissolves, toss your nail into the solution for ten minutes, then rinse off any leftover residue. Whatever your method, you can scrub it pretty good, because again, it’s durable!
Regularly cleaning your titanium dab nail (and entire dab rig, to be honest) is essential to maintain clean hits. You invest a lot in your concentrates — why mess them up with a dirty rig?

A basic visual guide is to keep heating until it’s glowing red, then remove the heat and wait 20 seconds for it to cool to optimal temperature before adding your concentrate.
Just as you season cast-iron pans, you need to season your titanium nail. If not, you get that weird metallic taste.
Heat the nail until it begins to glow red. Use a dabber to place concentrate on the areas you want seasoned. Allow the nail to cool. Repeat this process four or five times.
